On Thursday, USC football extended a preferred walk-on offer to Titan Lacaden, a three-star 2025 Honolulu (Hawaii) wide receiver. Lacaden made a commitment to Hawaii in June of last year, and he paid his official visit earlier this month.

According to the 247Sports Composite, Lacaden is the No. 1,421 overall prospect and the No. 199 wide receiver. He stands 5-foot-8 and weighs 155 pounds. He is ranked No. 258 among wide receivers by 247Sports.

Preferred walk-on offers are often offered late in the recruiting cycle in an effort to fill up the scout team and reserves for a certain position.

Romero Ison, a three-star pass catcher from Baltimore (Md.), has committed to the Trojans’ 2025 class as a receiver. Overall, USC has 13 pledges and is ranked fifth in the nation. USC signed one receiver in its 2024 recruiting class.
