David Moyes’ Everton will host Michael Carrick’s Manchester United at Hill Dickinson Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Everton, meanwhile, remain unbeaten at the start of the new campaign, although the mood surrounding the club has become increasingly toxic.

Neville is backing his former club to leave Merseyside with all three points, predicting a narrow away victory.
“2-1 United. Sorry Everton fans.
“We do have a good record there (Everton). I think we do well there.”
Keane, however, is less certain that United will make the trip to Hill Dickinson Stadium and secure the win.
“Everton should have got a result last year (1-0 Man United win). Let’s go 1-1.”

Everton versus Manchester United is one of the Premier League’s longest-standing fixtures.
The two clubs have faced each other regularly since the competition began in 1992, producing plenty of memorable encounters along the way.
In recent years, though, it has been the Red Devils who have enjoyed the greater success in this fixture, particularly when travelling to Merseyside.
Everton have failed to beat United at home in each of their last four meetings, with their most recent victory coming in April 2022.
Looking at their overall record, the Toffees have managed just one win against the Old Trafford side in their last 10 meetings across all competitions.
One thing the fixture has often delivered, however, is goals. Three of the previous five meetings in all competitions have produced at least four goals.
As a result, three points this weekend would be hugely valuable for Moyes’ side. However, if Keane’s prediction proves correct and Everton come away with a point, it would not necessarily be a disastrous outcome either.
