Oliver Glasner’s biggest concern at Nottingham Forest is reportedly keeping owner Evangelos Marinakis onside.
That is the view of experienced former Everton, Aston Villa and Tottenham scout Bryan King, who spoke exclusively to Football Insider.
The 52-year-old manager is already under pressure at the City Ground after managing just one victory from his first six matches of the season.
Remarkably, Marinakis dismissed four managers last season alone — Nuno Espirito Santo, Ange Postecoglou, Sean Dyche and Vitor Pereira.
Pereira was controversially shown the door at the beginning of July and replaced by Glasner, despite having successfully guided Nottingham Forest away from relegation danger.
Glasner departed Crystal Palace at the end of his contract during the summer after winning both the FA Cup and Conference League during his spell at Selhurst Park.

Marinakis’ tendency to make decisions in the heat of the moment is not limited to Nottingham Forest, with his other club, Olympiacos, experiencing a similar situation.
Jose Luis Mendilibar was sacked earlier this month after only seven matches of the new campaign, despite guiding Olympiacos to a league and cup double last season.
Speaking to Football Insider, King said: “Glasner is under pressure because they’re not top of the league. Well, are Nottingham Forest ever going to be top of the league?
“It’s the same situation at Crystal Palace. There’s been stuff there that [Steve] Parish is already fed up with the new manager [Pierre Sage] he brought in.
“You have to see how they’re going to settle. Glasner’s biggest problem is not Forest, it’s the owner. That’s going to be his biggest worry.
“Who would take over? I don’t think Eddie Howe would go there. You’re talking about managers here who have very good compensation packages.
“Vast sums of money these managers have received. Who’s to blame for that – the manager or the people running the football club? For me, it’s the people running the football club.
“Look at Sean Dyche. He did a decent job. There’s no consistency in the owner at all. He honestly thinks he’s going to win the Premier League and they won’t win the Premier League as long as he’s in charge. He doesn’t give anybody a chance.”

Although Glasner has previously spoken positively about Marinakis, he will undoubtedly know how quickly the Forest owner can change his mind.
“They contacted me all the time and I always said no. I said to him [Marinakis], honestly, that I didn’t consider Nottingham Forest,” he said in August.
“You don’t have European football and I’m used to playing European football and like to play European football – just winning the Conference League, winning the Europa League, playing in the Champions League.
“But then I had a more detailed look and there are two reasons why I changed my mind and I told him. Number one is I think there is more potential in the squad than they have shown.
“And number two is you, it’s your ambition because I am very ambitious. We had a really fantastic dinner and spoke about everything. I said to Mr Marinakis, and to everyone, that it shouldn’t be the goal to play European football once. We don’t want to be a one-hit wonder.”
